Possum Kingdom has long been a favorite spot for anglers throughout the southwest. With nearly 18,000 surface acres of water and 310 miles of shoreline, PK offers a diverse natural habitat, from rocky bluffs and underwater ledges to shallow flats with aquatic vegetation. Popular species include largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, striped bass, white bass, spotted bass, crappie, bream. Channel, blue and flathead catfish are abundant. Heavy stocking of Florida strain largemouth bass and striped bass give PK true trophy potential.
