Charlie’s Angels began in 1996 when local convenience store owner Charlie Self started delivering donated hot meals to a small group of homebound seniors at Possum Kingdom Lake. What began with just 5–10 meals a week has grown into a community-supported program that provides meals to homebound seniors while also offering affordable dine-in and takeout meals twice a week. Powered by dedicated volunteers and local support, Charlie’s Angels continues to bring food, fellowship, and care to the community.
